The Chattahoochee Weimaraner Club is a member club of the Weimaraner Club of America and is licensed by the American Kennel Club to sponsor Conformation Shows, Obedience Trials, Agility Trials, Hunt Tests and Field Trials and we can host Barn Hunts.
Our members include breeders, agility competitors, conformation competitors, hunting enthusiasts and a number of experienced obedience competitors. But MOST importantly, our club is made up of people whose Weimaraners are their family pets and loving companions.
We have an active referral program to place dogs whose homes are no longer appropriate for them. Our focus in this program is to make the home we find for them their home for life. We are dedicated to the breed as a whole, not just one aspect of it.
The Chattahoochee Weimaraner Club offers a multitude of opportunities for Weimaraner enthusiasts. We hold a number of fun days throughout the year, which give you a chance to try agility, swimming, bird work, and just plain fun.
During the year we hold two specialty Conformation Shows and 3 agility trials. We also sponsor an AKC Hunt Test during the year. In addition to these activities we also give our members the opportunity to get to know other folks who share their lives with our grey friends.
